Storage and processing
Ideal storage temperature for avocados is between 23-25 degrees Celsius.
Refrigeration: Place avocados in the refrigerator compartment or an airtight container to prevent exposure to air and odors from other foods that could accelerate spoilage. Refrigerated avocados can be stored for about 2-3 weeks.
Freezing avocados: Peel the avocados and place them in a freezer bag or airtight container, then store in the freezer compartment. Frozen avocados can be stored for 6 months to 1 year.
Preparing avocado into avocado puree: Avocado puree can typically be stored for 2-3 months in the refrigerator or up to 6 months in the freezer.
